- Abstract:
The aim of this study is to identify the critical success factors (CSF) in Knowledge Management (KM) of Venezuelan academic institutions began the KM process and validate which factors were considered when implanting KM in one of these institutions. Today, KM is being recognized as a significant factor for grasping competitive advantage that is why it is necessary to know the CSFs, in order to assess precisely the KM's effectiveness. The research is of exploratory, field and descriptive type. A mixed, sequential and complementary method was employed. The data collection techniques were interview and survey. It is concluded that the CSFs are: support of senior management, leadership, senior management commitment, resource allocation, human resources management, reward system, efficient KM management plan, organizational structure, organizational info-culture, communicational strategy, support group, technological infrastructure and KM system embed. - Abstract:
El objetivo del presente trabajo es identificar los factores clave de éxito (FCE) en Gestión del Conocimiento (GC), con instituciones académicas venezolanas que iniciaron el proceso de GC e indagar cuáles factores fueron considerados en la implantación de GC en una institución. La GC está siendo reconocida como un factor significativo para obtener ventaja competitiva, por ello la necesidad de conocer estos factores, buscando una evaluación precisa de su efectividad. La investigación es de tipo exploratoria, de campo y descriptiva. Se utilizó el método mixto, secuencial y complementario. Las técnicas de recolección de datos fueron la entrevista y el cuestionario. Se concluye que los FCE son: apoyo de la alta gerencia, liderazgo, compromiso de la alta gerencia, asignación de recursos, gestión de recursos humanos, sistemas de recompensa, plan eficaz de gestión de GC, estructura organizativa, info-cultura organizacional, estrategia comunicacional, grupo de soporte, infraestructura tecnológica e incrustar el sistema de GC.
