The article discusess Great Britain. Court of Appeal case Times Travel (UK) Limited v Pakistan International Airlines Corp. on area of lawful act duress, where a contract results from a threat of a lawful act or omission. In this case dispute arose due to unpaid commission, however court held that a threat made in good faith by a company in a monopoly situation did not constitute illegitimate pressure for the purposes of economic duress, even if that threat were potentially unreasonable.
