    • Abstract:
The objective was to determine the relationship between human talent management and academic productivity at the Cabimas University Institute of Technology. The research was correlational, of comparative type with field design, non-experimental, transversal. The population consisted of 50 subjects assigned to the academic subdirection. The results showed weaknesses in the selection, orientation and performance evaluation processes; failures in the participation strategies, in the commitment to work, as well as in the shared responsibility. It is concluded that the pedagogical practice of the institution's personnel is not very innovative, which is affecting academic productivity. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
