A VISION OF QUANTIFICATION OF SUSTAINABLE HUMAN DEVELOPMENT. (English)
    • Abstract:
The present study aimed to propose new measurement components of sustainable human development based on the historical and theoretical development path. The research assumes ontoepistemological position based on positivism, addressing technical survey and instrument of written questionnaire administered to thirty-one (31) experts in the field of knowledge, and whose analysis allowed us to conclude that traditional models to measure development are insufficient to demonstrate the reality of nations. Therefore, the proposed measure is derived in seven components: ethical, spiritual and cultural addition to the formally established by Munasinghe (1993, 2011) and the UN (2012): economic, social, environmental, institutional constituted in total, by selecting one hundred fifty five (155) variables.
