    • Abstract:
      The paper presents the basic factors determining the quality of health care. These are: a doctor, a patient, a disease and an organization. A physician with his / her professional competence, communication skills and intellectual abilities is the most important factor that directly influences the outcome of the protection. in the center of the health care system, and it is a measure of its effectiveness. The organization must balance its internal resources with the wishes and needs of the patient. The paper also presents ethical principles that over time have been supplemented with new ethical requirements, which medical staff, and especially the doctor, must take into account in order to improve the quality of health care.       U radu su prikazani osnovni faktori, koji determinišu kvalitet zdravstvene zaštite. To su: Ijekar, pacijent, bolest i organizacija. Ljekar sa svojim stručnom kompetencijom, vještinom komunikacije i intelektualnim sposobnostima je najvažniji faktor koji direktno utiče na ishod zaštite. Pacijent se nalazi u centru sistema zdravstvene zaštite i on je mjera njene efikasnosti. Organizacija mora uravnotežiti svoje unutrašnje resurse sa željama i potrebama pacijenta. U radu su prikazani i etički principi koji su vremenom suvremenom dopunjeni novim etičkim zahtjevima, koje zdravstveno osoblje, a posebno ljekar mora da uvažava, kako bi se poboljšao kvalitet zdravstvene zaštite.
