    • Abstract:
Chapter 21 of the book "Foundations of Social Theory," by James Samuel Coleman is presented. It discusses the responsibility of corporate actors towards other actors in society. It reports that for trade unions or other membership associations, the organizational goals are directly related to those of the members and stem from them. It is noted that there is no set of natural persons to whom the modern corporation is intrinsically and irrevocably responsible.
