      This study is considering the role of business ethics in relation to the problem of economic espionage. Companies that aspire to creating and maintaining a good reputation, should have the moral norms and principles and hold to them. For ethical standardization and keeping employees in line with ethics, individual responsibility and morality are important. Personal or individual moral is a part of the social and business ethics. Business enterprises should not be separated from ethics. The phenomenon of business espionage is also important to standardize ethical despite numerous difficulties, since there is not enough talk about it. On the other hand, in modern information age, business competitors' secret data are the top priority.       U ovom radu je sagledana uloga poslovne etike u odnosu na problem ekonomske špijunaže. Preduzeća koja teže stvaranju i održavanju dobrog ugleda, trebalo bi da imaju moralne norme i načela i da se njih drže. Za etičko normiranje i držanje zaposlenih u skladu sa etikom, važna je lična odgovornost i moral. Lični ili individualni moral, deo je društvenog i poslovnog morala. Poslovanje preduzeća ne bi trebalo odvojiti od etike. Fenomen poslovne špijunaže je, takođe, važno etički normirati uprkos brojnim poteškoćama, budući da se o njemu nedovoljno govori. S druge strane, u savremenom informatičkom dobu, tajni poslovni podaci konkurenata, vrhunski su imperativ. Imajući u vidu činjenicu, da su ti podaci od suštinske važnosti za konkurentsko pozicioniranje i stvaranje održive konkurentske prednosti, mogu se razumeti pojačane aktivnosti ekonomske obaveštajne delatnosti. Poslovna špijunaža se stoga sve češće koristi u cilju postizanja poslovnih ciljeva preduzeća. U tom smislu je svakako poželjno da se sve poslovne aktivnosti, uključujući i poslovnu špijunažu, posmatraju i analiziraju sa etičkog aspekta. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
