The article suggests several ways to harness the power of positive behavioral change when it comes to maintaining health and fitness in order to save more money. Research found that people who aimed to save smaller, more manageable amounts saved more over time. Other studies showed that self-control is contagious and can be improved by being strategic with social networks. Additional practices for behavioral change are to put one's self in a physical environment that inspire self-control and rewarding one's self when working toward a weight loss goal.
